They also can choose the self-monitoring option that can be paid by the month or by the year. If you monitor the system yourself, you can receive notifications through the downloadable app or by text. If professional monitoring is chosen, emergency services will also be notified in the event of an emergency.<\/p>\n<p>ADT offers 24\/7 professional monitoring to all of its customers. Monitoring centers offer round the clock coverage, as well as coverage for their medical alert devices. They offer multiple plans to choose from, with each being customized to the customer's needs. ADT's system will notify emergency response teams if an alert is triggered. All of their equipment is purchased upfront. Equipment costs vary depending on the devices that are chosen and range in price from $240 to $500.
